dear friends today i discuss about the place where is famous freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee also known as Bagha Jatin got injured and died fighting the British  and this place is also famous for It is also the site of the Indian Ballistic Missile Defense Program's Integrated Test Range, located 18 km. south of Balasore. The Defence Research and Development Organisation developed many different missiles such as NagBrahmosAgni Missile among others here. yes this is our baleswar {balasore}.

1.Chandipur beach ::  Chandipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The sea beaches of Chandipur have succeeded in attracting tourists from all over the world. The Chandipur beach has its own unique character which sets it apart from all other beaches of India.


2.Panchalingeswar :: Ensconced in the verdant environs of Nilagiri, the five lingams at Panchalingeswar, the revered venue for numerous devotees, are bathed by the iridescent and sparkling waters of a perennial stream. Legend has it that these lingams were installed in this beautiful abode by King Banasura himself. Because of the serenity and beauty of its surrounding environs. A place 32 km from Balasore on hill top surrounded with beauty of woods. A place of choice of nature lovers and deep thinkers. Accommodation is available. Orissa Tourism Department's Panthasala.


3.  Kharasahapur Beach :: his beautiful place situated in Balasore dist.,about 25 km from Balasore city ,a versatile place having beutiful lonely beaches with a fishing jetty nearby naming the Bahabalpur port and beautiful kasurina plantation nearby. It is having a very good potential to develope a major tourist spot if modern facilities like Boating & inland water transport facilities would be developed by the local Govt.


4. Khirachora Gopinath Shrine :: Famous for Khirochora  Gopinath temple Remuna has been a seat of Vaishnawite Culture for centuries, Madhabendra Puri the teacher of Shri Chaitanya and Shri Chaitanya himself visited Remuna and offered their worship to Khirochora Gopinath. Today hundreds of devetees gather daily for the sacred Darshan lof the Lord. Specially prepared milk is the most delicious prasad of the temple.Remuna is a chunk of Vrindaban In Orissa.


5.  Chandaneswar :: Another 6 km towards west from Digha, there is Chandaneswar, which is famous for a Shiva Temple. In the month of Chaitra i.e., in the last month of Bengali calender year, an annual fair is organised around this temple. Pilgrims from all over the country, especially from Orissa, Bengal, Bihar come to this fair. There are bus/rickshaw services from Digha to Chandaneswar. Apart from this, Calcutta-Chandaneswar, Howrah-Balasore, Digha-Baripada buses ply via Chandaneswar. 
Chandaneswar is located 88 Km from Balasore and famous for Chandaneswara temple. Description:Chandaneswara temple is a holy place. About 4 km from Chandaneswar and 4 km from Digha in West Bengal is the tranquil beach at Talasari, surrounded by casuarina groves.


6. Langaleswar :: the place of  famous for its location and mythology Lord Shiva used to plough the paddy field. In memory of the same plough is there and  hundreds of piligrims use to gather there to worship the Lord Langaleswar who has been named after that plough. Langaleswar is famous for  Saivasim. The location of the temple by the side of river parvati too creates a senic beauty and makes another attraction of the place.



7. Bhudharchandi :: there are several Orissa State Tourism buses, private taxis that ply between Bhudharchandi and Balasore town. The distance between Bhudharchandi and Balasore town is 27 kms. One can even avail private auto rickshaws or taxis available near the railway station or bus stands to reach the  attraction. The scenic place of Sajanagarh is surrounded by Nilgiri hills and lush jungles. Situated close to the periphery of the jungles are the Kuldiha sanctuary, the Panchalingeswar temple and the Panchalingeswar hill. Visitors to this region are captivated by many natural waterfalls. 


8.Emami Jagannath Temple :: This Jagannath temple is made as Odisha’s second Puri Jagannath temple. Temple was easily accessible from the Balasore city by car. The temple is best viewed in the evening as it is lit with light, which makes it more beautiful. They also provided prasad/bhog to everyone


9. Baba Bhusandeswar Temple :: is one of the largest Shiva Lingams in the World is in Bhograi village of Balasore district, Odisha.which is located 100 km from Balasore. The 12 feet long and 14 feet width lingam is carved out on a black granite and only half of the lingam is visible. The other half has remained buried for years. The diameter of the lingam is 12 feet and has three parts. The middle portion of the lingam is octagonal in shape, about 12 feet in diameter and nearly four feet in height. The Lingam slightly leans towards the right side.

10 ::Nilagiri Jagannath Temple :: this is the fourth popular Jagannatha temple of Odisha after Puri, the ‘Shabara Shreekshetra’ in Koraput and the Baripada Jagannatha temple. 
Jagannatha along with his elder brother Balabhadra and younger sister Subhadra are worshipped in the main temple. The temple was built by a king of the Harichandan dynasty of Nilagiri.It is Situated in the foothills of Swarnachuda hills, the Jagannatha temple remains cool even during summer. There are many small temples for deities like Vimala, Ganesha and Shiva in the temple premises.This temple is a fusion of Puri Jagannath Temple and Konark Sun Temple in architecture.
