Samsung Galaxy M-Series is the new India-first lineup of smartphones from the South Korean electronics giant, and they will be launch in India on Monday. Ahead of that date, we wanted to give you a fair idea of what to expect from the Galaxy M-Series launch, and to that end, here's everything we know thus far about the smartphones, from the official titbits Samsung has teased to the numerous leaks and their accompanying specifications. So far, the company is rumoured to launch several Galaxy M-Series handsets, such as the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, with the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M50 also said to be in the pipeline.

Samsung earlier this month announced that the Galaxy M-Series of India-first smartphones will be launched on Monday, January 28.  Samsung also revealed the new Galaxy M smartphones will go on sale on February 5 from Amazon India and the company's own online store. During its launch announcement, Samsung also said the new budget Galaxy M smartphones will be targeted at 'young millennials' and feature 'powerful' displays, cameras, batteries, and processors.

Separately, Samsung on its online India store and Amazon India put up teasers of the new budget smartphones, revealing the Galaxy M-Series will bear features like an Infinity-V Display, large batteries, fast charging, dual rear camera setups, and fingerprint sensors. A USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and bottom-facing speakers were also spotted, tipping their inclusion on at least on of the new models, if not all.

As we mentioned, Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 are expected to be the first to launch, with the also leaked Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M50 thought to make their way to retail shelves at a later date. Thus far, the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 price in India have been leaked, as well as a bunch of specifications for all the smartphones. A recent listing on a Samsung app also tipped that the Android Pie update for the smartphones is only due in August, corroborating older leaks that detailed the Galaxy M-Series will launch with Android 8.1 Oreo on board.

According to a report by IANS, which cites 'reliable industry sources', the Samsung Galaxy M10 price in India will start Rs. 7,990 for its 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage model, going up to Rs. 8,990 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model. On the other hand, the Galaxy M20 price in India is said to start at Rs. 10,990 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model, going up to Rs. 12,990 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M10 is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo, and sport 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display. The phone will reportedly be powered by 14nm octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC, with 2GB and 3GB of RAM options. The Galaxy M10 is said to feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It's said to run on a 3,400mAh battery, have dimensions of 155.6x75.6x7.7mm, and weigh 160 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 on the other hand is reported to also run Android 8.1 Oreo, and sport a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution. It's said to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7885 SoC and come with 3GB and 4GB of RAM options. The Galaxy M20 is said to have a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The 5-megapixel will reportedly be used to capture wide-angle shots. The Galaxy M20 is said to come with 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage, and include a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It is said to feature a massive 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.

As for the Samsung Galaxy M30, it is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo, and feature a 6.38-inch (1080x2220 pixels) Infinity-U display, and be powered by the Exynos 7885 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. A triple rear camera setup is also tipped, with a 13-megapixel and two 5-megapixel sensors. It's supposed to bear a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy M30 is also said to offer 64GB and 128GB storage options. A 5,000mAh battery has been reported, and the smartphone's said to have dimensions of 159x75.1x8.4mm.

Finally, we come to the Samsung Galaxy M50 - unfortunately though, not much is known about this smartphone beyond it supposedly featuring an AMOLED display instead of the LCD displays said to be used on the three other rumoured models. It can be expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo at launch as well.

The long awaited iphone X is official. with the firm unveiling the 10th-anniversary device at its much-hyped Apple Event on Tuesday.

The iPhone X (pronounced iPhone 10) is the company's first smartphone to feature a full-screen display, as it sets its sights on the likes of the Galaxy Note 8. There's also an all-new 'Super Retina' resolution, a reinforced glass design and support for wireless charging, with the iPhone X arriving with support for the Qi charging standard.

Release dateAs expected, the iPhone X won't be released at the same time as the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which will start shipping on 22 September.

Instead, Apple has announced that iPhone X pre-orders will begin on 27 October at 8.01am, with shipping to begin 3 November - for those who were quick enough to order.

PriceThe iPhone X is now available to order but unsurprisingly, given rumours of stock shortages, it's already sold out. Apple is selling 64GB and 256GB versions of the phone for £999 and £1,149, respectively, but shipping has already slipped to "five to six weeks."

The handset is also available to buy through Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program, with monthly payments starting at £56.45.

Carphone Warehouse, naturally, has been quick to start taking iPhone X pre-ordersand is offering the phone on tariffs with EE, iD, O2 and Vodafone. Pricing starts at £56 per month with a £199 upfront cost, a Vodafone tariff that comes with 26GB monthly data.

No Home Button

We knew this one was coming, of course, and Apple has replaced all of the home button’s functionality with gestures. For example, a swipe up from the bottom brings you to the home screen. Or, you can swipe up from the bottom and pause to open the app switcher. Ditching the home screen allowed Apple to produce a phone with an all-screen front, and it’s a welcome change.

Apple’s first iPhone with an OLED display is finally here, and the Super Retina Display is a sight to behold. It measures 5.8 inches diagonally, and it features a pixel density of 458 ppi with a 1,000,000:1 color ratio. It’s also a True Tone screen, which means it automatically adjusts its color temperature based on the lighting you’re in at any give time.

Face ID

Face ID is an enhanced facial recognition feature that utilizes Apple’s new True Depth camera system. It features eight different cameras and sensors that combine to instantly recognize the owner’s face. The new A11 Bionic chip features a built-in neural engine that powers the system. Importantly, the system still works if you’re wearing glasses, if you change your hair, or even if you grow a beard. Low light also isn’t a problem, since there’s an infrared element.

Face ID will work for unlocking, Apple Pay, and with any third-party apps that implement it, just like Touch ID

Cameras

The iPhone X includes a new dual-lens camera system on the back of the phone. It has dual optical image stabilization, making it just the second smartphone ever to feature dual OIS. The cameras still have 12-megapixel sensors, but they feature a ton of enhancements to improve color reproduction and reduce noise.

 Apple’s new iPhone X supports Qi wireless charging so it works with just about all the equipment that’s already out there. 1 . Hirakud Dam (Longest dam in the world) 16km from Sambalpur) :: Built over river Mahanadi, this is the world's largest earthen dam and one of the longest dam in the world which forms a 35Km long artificial lake as well.

This dam forms a very suitable environment for wildlife and there also is Debigarh Wildlife sanctuary where live common pochard, red crested pochard and many others. There are several beautiful migratory birds which could be seen in the vicinity. Besides there are eco cottages located at the bank near the dam which can be reserved in advance.

The dam is 6 Kms from NH 6 . The nearest rail head is Hirakud railway station (S.E.R) which is 8 Kms from the dam site.

2. Sambaleswari temple :: Shree Shree Samaleswari, the presiding deity of Sambalpur, is a strong religious force in western part of Orissa and Chhattisgarh state of India. On the bank of the river Mahanadi the mother goddess Samaleswari is worshipped from ancient times as Jagatjanani, Adishakti, Mahalaxmi and Mahasaraswati. The region in which the temple is situated has a rich cultural heritage. Sambalpur region is popularly known as Hirakhanda from ancient times. Ptolemy has described the place as Sambalak, Acording to Tavernir, the French traveller, and Edward Gibbon, the English historian, diamonds were exported to Rome from Sambalpur.

3 . Maa Ghanteshwari temple :: Maa Ghanteshwari temple is a temple in the district of Sambalpur, the western region of Orissa, India. As the name suggests there are bells everywhere.[1] People offer bells to goddess Ghanteswari or the Deity of Bells, after fulfillment of their wishes. A large number of pilgrims from across the state visit the temple. It is known as the 'lighthouse without light', built by the early sailors, for whom the bells served as warning against heavy winds. The special significance of this place lies in the great number of small bells hanging all around.

Maa Ghanteshwari Temple is situated 33 kilometres (21 mi) southwest of the district capital Sambalpur on the bank of Mahanadi River. The Chipilima Hydro Powerplant is located near the temple on the same riverbank.

4. Huma temple :: Huma temple, situated near Sambhalpur, was established in the year 1670. It is believed that the temple was built by the King Baliar Singh, the fifth king of the Chauhan dynasty of Sambalpur. It is popularly known as the Leaning Temple of Huma, as it does not stand upright and is tilted towards one side. Infact, almost everything within the temple complex is skewed. The temple is located on the banks of Mahanadi River, at a distance of about 23 km from the Sambhalpur district of Odisha.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the Gods forming the Hindu Trinity. There is an interesting legend behind the construction of the Huma temple. People say that there was a milkman, who used to go across river Mahanadi to worship Lord Shiva. He used to offer milk to the Lord everyday. One day, to his surprise, the rock idol consumed the milk offered by the milkman. This miraculous incident paved way for the construction of temple. 5. Ushakothi :: A spot of an altogether different hue is Ushakothi wild life Sanctuary, 43 Kms. North-East of Sambalpur on NH.6. Stretching for more than 130 Kms., the Sanctuary harbours Elephants, Tigers, Gours, Sambars, Black Panthers, Deer, Spotted Deer, and Wild Bears etc. The two watching towers located near the saline tank inside the Sanctuary enable the visitors to catch a view of these animals.

6 . Pradhanpat  :: The Pradhanpat Falls is located at a distance of 100 Kilometers from Sambalpur and also at a reasonable distance from the city of Deogarh. The Pradhanpat Falls is a picturesque waterfall which is surrounded by some of the rarest scenic sights of nature which makes it one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Odisha.

7. Chipilima powerhouse :: A combination of both Hirakud Dam and Huma Temple is Chiplima, about 37 Kms. from Sambalpur. An ideal picnic spot, Chiplima is known for a natural fall (24.38 mts. In height) harnessed for generating electricity. It is also known for harbouring Ghanteswari, the presiding deity of the place. Moreover, the State livestock Breeding Farm and Agricultural Farm are located here.

8. Cattle island :: It is situated near the Kumarbandh village which is about 90 kilometers from the Sambalpur town. Forming part of a submerged hill, this island used to be a developed village until the construction of the Hirakud Dam started. The place derived its name from the fact that all the animals that inhabited the place belonged to the cattle group. During the resettlement period, the folks left the animals on their own. As the time progressed, the cattle grew stronger and grew wilder. They are bigger than the normal cattle. People have tried to capture them but have failed to do so.

1. JAGANATH TEMPLE ::  The Puri temple is built on a gigantic raised platform in the heart of the city, The temple complex is enclosed by a wall about seven meters high -including the 0 height of the platform. The area of this platform is more than 4,20,000 sq.ft. The wall is pierced by four gates ,facing the four directions. On the east-facing gate, there are stone images of two lions and it is called the Lions Gate. The north, south and west facing gates are similarly known as the Elephant Gate, the Horse Gate and the Tiger Gate (also called the Khanja Gate) respectively. The north gate is mainly meant for the God himself in as much as, the logs of wood out of which, the images are fabricated, make their entry into the temple premises through this gate, when the Navakelevara ceremony takes place. The east-facing Lions Gate is the main gate. There are pyramidal structures over the four gates, which are not very old.

As we arrive at the vast open area in front of the Lions Gate (eastern gate), we see a monolithic pillar about 10 meters high. This pillar is known locally as the Aruna Stambha. In Hindu mythology Aruna is the the charioteer of the Sun-god, The world famous Konarka temple was designed in the form of a stupendous chariot and this monolithic pillar with the beautifully carved Aruna seated on its top was installed right in front of the porch of that temple. When the temple was abandoned and there was no presiding deity in it, this pillar was removed from Konarka to Puri and was fixed in front of Jagannatha temple where we see it now.

2. PURI SEA BEACH :: Puri Beach is a beach in the city of Puri in the state of Odisha, India. It is on the shore of the Bay of Bengal. 4. KONARK TEMPLE  SUN TEMPLE :: Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-century CE Sun Temple at Konark in Odisha, India. It is believed that the temple was built by king Narasimhadeva I of Eastern Ganga Dynasty in 1255 CE. The temple complex is in the shape of a gigantic chariot, having elaborately carved stone wheels, pillars and walls. A major part of the structure is now in ruins. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has also featured on various list of Seven Wonders of India.

The name Konark derives from the combination of the Sanskrit words, Kona (corner or angle) and Ark (the sun), in reference to the temple which was dedicated to the Sun God Surya.

The monument was also called the Black Pagoda'(Kaala Pagoda) by the European sailors. In contrast, the Jagannath Temple in Puri was called the White Pagoda. Both temples served as important landmarks for the sailors. Konark Sun Temple used Iron beams for its structure.

5 . CHANDRABHAGA BEACH :: This golden sand beach is absolutely stunning and ideal place to see sunrise. Being 30 kms from Puri city and 3 kms from Konark, this beach is easily accessible which is a cherry on the cake. We reached at 4:30 am in the morning and were surprised to see many visitors reach even before that. Chilly wind, roaring sea, sunrise and numerous boats of fisherman sailing into the sea with the first ray of sunlight is a picturesque sight. Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy delicious coconut water at the beach. Advisable to carry light stoles as it might be cold in the morning.

KARAMALA ASHRAM :: Paramahamsa (परमाहंस), also spelled paramahansa or paramhansa, is a Sanskrit religio-theological title of honor applied to Hindu spiritual teachers who are regarded as having attained enlightenment. The title literally means "supreme swan," and symbolizes spiritual discrimination. The swan is equally at home on land and on water; similarly, the true sage is equally at home in the realms of matter and of spirit. To be in divine ecstasy and simultaneously to be actively wakeful is the paramahansa state; the 'royal swan' of the soul floats in the cosmic ocean, beholding both its body and the ocean as manifestations of the same Spirit. Orissa is fortunate to have given birth to one such divine person – Sri Abhiram Paramahansa Deva who is lovingly called Thakur. Just at the advent of the century, i.e. on the 18th January 1904, he was born to the parents Sri Satyabadi Pattanaik and Srimati Radha Devi in a remote corner of Puri district, in the village Karmala situated on the bank of river luna. It is said that on the 19th of that month, i.e a day after the birth of the healthy and handsome baby, one ascetic became the guest of the parents for the night and instructed that host to christen the new – born baby as “Abhiram” the name which was not in accordance with other tow elder brothers, lokanath and Somanath. The monk, during his stay, expressed a few words which indicate that the baby was born being enriched with extraordinary power. He then left that place before the dawn. Satyabadi, while preparing the horoscope of the baby could know that it was of a great man. Like all mothers, Radha Devi called the child as Binori, a name coined by herself Sri Arjuna Pattanaik and Srimati Subrata Devi, a childless couple of that village were glad to adopt the baby with due consent of the parents and to take up the responsibility of bringing him up. But these foster parents could not remain for a long period to claim their parental right upon the adopted child as they passed away after a few years. So the child had to return to his birth place again. This was the fact that Sri Thakur used to cite that none of this kith and kin survives.

CHILIKA LAKE :: Chilika lake is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Puri, Khurda and Ganjam districts of Odisha state on the east coast of India, at the mouth of the Daya River, flowing into the Bay of Bengal, covering an area of over 1,100 km². It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest coastal lagoon in the world. The New Caledonian barrier reef in New Caledonia.

It is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian sub-continent. The lake is home to a number of threatened species of plants and animals.

The lake is an ecosystem with large fishery resources. It sustains more than 150,000 fisher–folk living in 132 villages on the shore and islands.

The lagoon hosts over 160 species of birds in the peak migratory season. Birds from as far as the Caspian Sea, Lake Baikal, Aral Seaand other remote parts of Russia, Kirghiz steppes of Mongolia, Central and southeast Asia, Ladakh and Himalayas come here. These birds travel great distances; migratory birds probably follow much longer routes than the straight lines, possibly up to 12,000 km, to reach Chilika Lake.

ALARNATHTEMPLE::Alarnatha Temple or Alvarnaath  is a temple dedicated to Vishnu and located in Brahmagiri, Odisha,nearPuri.It becomes crowded during the krishnapaksha of Ashadha,after the Snana Yatra when lord Jagannath cannot be seen in Puri. During this period, popularly known as Anasara or 'Anavasara' (literally meaning no opportunity to see the lord of Puri), instead of having darshan in Jagannath Temple,peoples believe that Lord Jagannath during this time manifests as Alarnath Dev, at the Alarnath temple in Brahmagiri, which is about 23 km from Puri.

SIRULI MAHAVIR TEMPLE :: Siruli Mahavir Chandanpur,  Siddha Mahavir of Puri and Panchamukhi Hanuman of Cuttack are the most prominent Hanuman Pithas of Orissa.The original murti of Mahavir Hanuman worshipped in the temple is Swayambhu meaning it appeared on its own. Currently a huge murti made of single stone is worshipped. The murti has been worshipped from ancient times. The current temple which stands in five acres of land was established by Cholaganga Dev during the 6th century AD. Some scholars believe it was established in 12th century AD.

The murti or Idol of Hanuman presently worshiped here is 10 feet tall and faces west. The width of the chest of the murti is enormous. The chest exhibits the famous posture Lord Rama and Sita in Hanuman’s heart. In the right hand he holds Gandhamardana parvata (a huge rock). Left hand holds katuri or short dagger in left 
hand. He wears a garland of jewels (Vaijantimala) in his body. The murti of Hanuman has been designed as trampling over Murasura. Sculpture of Anjana, the mother of Hanuman, is carved to the right of the pedestal. The murti is decorated with heavy earrings and has a jewel studded chain on the neck.

1.Chandipur beach ::  Chandipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The sea beaches of Chandipur have succeeded in attracting tourists from all over the world. The Chandipur beach has its own unique character which sets it apart from all other beaches of India.

2.Panchalingeswar :: Ensconced in the verdant environs of Nilagiri, the five lingams at Panchalingeswar, the revered venue for numerous devotees, are bathed by the iridescent and sparkling waters of a perennial stream. Legend has it that these lingams were installed in this beautiful abode by King Banasura himself. Because of the serenity and beauty of its surrounding environs. 3.  Kharasahapur Beach :: his beautiful place situated in Balasore dist.,about 25 km from Balasore city ,a versatile place having beutiful lonely beaches with a fishing jetty nearby naming the Bahabalpur port and beautiful kasurina plantation nearby. It is having a very good potential to develope a major tourist spot if modern facilities like Boating & inland water transport facilities would be developed by the local Govt.

4. Khirachora Gopinath Shrine :: Famous for Khirochora  Gopinath temple Remuna has been a seat of Vaishnawite Culture for centuries, Madhabendra Puri the teacher of Shri Chaitanya and Shri Chaitanya himself visited Remuna and offered their worship to Khirochora Gopinath. Today hundreds of devetees gather daily for the sacred Darshan lof the Lord. Specially prepared milk is the most delicious prasad of the temple.Remuna is a chunk of Vrindaban In Orissa.

5.  Chandaneswar :: Another 6 km towards west from Digha, there is Chandaneswar, which is famous for a Shiva Temple. In the month of Chaitra i.e., in the last month of Bengali calender year, an annual fair is organised around this temple. Pilgrims from all over the country, especially from Orissa, Bengal, Bihar come to this fair. There are bus/rickshaw services from Digha to Chandaneswar. Apart from this, Calcutta-Chandaneswar, Howrah-Balasore, Digha-Baripada buses ply via Chandaneswar. 

Chandaneswar is located 88 Km from Balasore and famous for Chandaneswara temple. Description:Chandaneswara temple is a holy place. About 4 km from Chandaneswar and 4 km from Digha in West Bengal is the tranquil beach at Talasari, surrounded by casuarina groves.

6. Langaleswar :: the place of  famous for its location and mythology Lord Shiva used to plough the paddy field. In memory of the same plough is there and  hundreds of piligrims use to gather there to worship the Lord Langaleswar who has been named after that plough. Langaleswar is famous for  Saivasim. The location of the temple by the side of river parvati too creates a senic beauty and makes another attraction of the place.

7. Bhudharchandi :: there are several Orissa State Tourism buses, private taxis that ply between Bhudharchandi and Balasore town. The distance between Bhudharchandi and Balasore town is 27 kms. One can even avail private auto rickshaws or taxis available near the railway station or bus stands to reach the  attraction. The scenic place of Sajanagarh is surrounded by Nilgiri hills and lush jungles. Situated close to the periphery of the jungles are the Kuldiha sanctuary, the Panchalingeswar temple and the Panchalingeswar hill. Visitors to this region are captivated by many natural waterfalls. 

8.Emami Jagannath Temple :: This Jagannath temple is made as Odisha’s second Puri Jagannath temple. Temple was easily accessible from the Balasore city by car. The temple is best viewed in the evening as it is lit with light, which makes it more beautiful. They also provided prasad/bhog to everyone

9. Baba Bhusandeswar Temple :: is one of the largest Shiva Lingams in the World is in Bhograi village of Balasore district, Odisha.which is located 100 km from Balasore. The 12 feet long and 14 feet width lingam is carved out on a black granite and only half of the lingam is visible. The other half has remained buried for years. The diameter of the lingam is 12 feet and has three parts. The middle portion of the lingam is octagonal in shape, about 12 feet in diameter and nearly four feet in height. The Lingam slightly leans towards the right side.

10 ::Nilagiri Jagannath Temple :: this is the fourth popular Jagannatha temple of Odisha after Puri, the ‘Shabara Shreekshetra’ in Koraput and the Baripada Jagannatha temple. 

Jagannatha along with his elder brother Balabhadra and younger sister Subhadra are worshipped in the main temple. The temple was built by a king of the Harichandan dynasty of Nilagiri.It is Situated in the foothills of Swarnachuda hills, the Jagannatha temple remains cool even during summer. There are many small temples for deities like Vimala, Ganesha and Shiva in the temple premises.This temple is a fusion of Puri Jagannath Temple and Konark Sun Temple in architecture.
